People join online communities like Second Life, Minecraft and World of Warcraft for many reasons, but they stay because of the people. Just like real world relationships, online friendships and romance can be wildly fulfilling — or fraught with anger and resentment.

This publication is designed to help people, in the tradition of ‘agony aunts’ like Dear Abby and Dan Savage. More than that, I am bringing in others to explore the very nature of the mediated online relationships that keep these communities going. ~ Heartun Breaker
